Enchanted

One really fun thing to do while watching a Disney movie is looking for Easter eggs and Enchanted is filled with them!

This movie plays homage to many Disney classics and there is almost one easter egg in every shot. If you are a huge Disney fan you probably already found all of them or not? Let’s find out!

FAIRYTALE BOOK

Enchanted

The movie starts with a close up of a storybook that opens to let us enter the story. This type of animation take us back to the entrance of movies like Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty that all start with a fairytale book in a similar setting. We definitely felt nostalgic about this one.

PRINCE EDWARD STATUE

Giselle and Edward

Does this scene looks familiar to you? The inspiration comes from The Little Mermaid when Ariel sits on Prince Eric’s statue dreaming about the human world!

DOPEY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS

Gisselle

Giselle holding these two blue jewels on her face is a throwback to Dopey in Snow White! He does this same thing while the dwarfs are working in the mine.

RIDING OFF INTO THE SUNSET

Enchanted

This scene is very similar to the end of Snow White! They also ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after.

EVIL QUEEN

Evil Queen

The Snow White references are endless in this movie. Edward’s step mother is pretty much the Evil Queen from Snow White, she also tries to get rid of Giselle throughout the whole movie and transforms into an old lady and even uses a poison apple at some point!

JODI BENSON

Jodi Benson

We love to see cameos of the actresses that voiced classic Disney princesses like Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel) playing Robert’s secretary! And if you play close attention you can hear “Part of Your World” when Giselle is looking through the fish tank.

HAPPY WORKING SONG

Happy Working Song

This song sounds familiar? That’s because is inspired by “Whistle While You Work” from Snow White, yes another Snow White reference but hey she is the original Disney Princess after all!

HIDDEN MICKEYS

Hidden Mickey

Yes, believe it or not, there are hidden Mickeys in this movie but they are very hard to spot. If you look closer to the Giselle’s dress she wears in the Central Park scene you will see those pink flowers are actually resemble little Mickeys!

POISON APPLE

Poison Apple

In the Central Park scene, Giselle gets offer a caramel apple by Nathaniel. You can even see the caramel dripping down the apple to form the same poisoned apple symbol from Snow White.

BELLE’S HILL RUN

Enchanted

The part where Giselle runs up a hill during the “That’s How You Know” number is actually inspired by the Beauty and the Beast scene where Belle is sining about running away from her provincial life.

PAIGE O’HARA

Paige O'hara

Another Disney Princess cameo is from Paige O’Hara, voice of Belle! You can see her while Edward is flipping channels in the hotel.

BELLA NOTTE RESTAURANT

Not all references in this movie are after Disney princess movies, there is also a nod to “The Lady and The Tramp”! We can see the restaurant signs and then Giselle and Edward sharing a pizza instead of a plate of spaghetti.

JUDY KUHN

Judy Kuhn

More Disney Princesses cameos? Yes and we love it! We can briefly see Judy (voice of Pocahontas) when Edward is looking for Giselle knocking on all the apartment doors.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BALL SCENE

Enchanted

The ball at the end of the movie is inspired by the ball scene in Beauty and the Beast! The dance, the place, the shots, everything looks exactly like in the animated movie!

MALEFICENT

Dragon

Turns out the Evil Queen can also transform into a dragon just like Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty!
