Choosing a place to dine with literally HUNDREDS of restaurants at Walt Disney World can be pretty overwhelming. We often hear about favorite restaurants inside the parks, but what about non-park restaurants? Some of my absolute favorite dining locations at Disney World are outside of the parks! This means you can dine at some of the very best restaurants Disney has to offer without even paying for a theme park ticket! Disney Springs alone has over 60 dining options! So what are some of the very best non-park restaurants? Here are 5 of my favorites!

California Grill

California Grill is easily one of Disney’s most popular non-park restaurants. Looking for amazing views, ambiance, and fantastic food- California Grill has it all! This signature dining location is found on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and features breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. This restaurant also features a very extensive wine list for guests over 21 years of age. If you time your meal correctly, you will also be able to step out on the balcony and get a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom nighttime fireworks show!

Sanaa

If you love unique flavors and bold dishes, you’ll love Sanaa! This restaurant is located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and is one of the most popular non-park restaurants, with the most popular menu item being their famous Indian bread service. Believe me, this bread service is GOOD. Sanaa’s menu is made up of Indian-influenced African dishes, and also features an amazing view of African savannah animals right outside of the windows! There is truly nothing like experiencing a delicious meal while watching giraffes and zebras stroll by.

Ohana

Ohana is another one of my absolute favorite non-park restaurants and is located inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The menu features American dishes with a Polynesian flair, such as Ohana noodles, grilled meats, and pineapple coconut bread! Meals are currently being served family-style in a beautiful Polynesian-themed setting. Ohana is currently open for both breakfast and dinner.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ might not be super fancy, but it is SUPER tasty! This restaurant is found in Disney Springs and features Southern-style comfort food like their famous fried chicken and “church lady deviled eggs”. Just because this dining location isn’t signature dining doesn’t mean the food is not completely out of this world! You’ll definitely want to make advanced dining reservations if you would like to dine here, as it is a very popular restaurant!

The Polite Pig

So I couldn’t make this list without including at least one amazing quick-service restaurant! The Polite Pig is a counter service restaurant located in Disney Springs that serves up some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! From BBQ ribs to brisket and gooey mac n’ cheese, this place has it all! The quality and quantity of the meals here are very impressive, and no reservations are required! If you are craving a delicious meal but didn’t plan ahead- give The Polite Pig a try!

We’ve really only just touched the surface on some of the best non-park restaurants found at Disney World. With so many options, it’s easy to try a new restaurant on every trip!
