We all know that the Happiest Place on Earth can sometimes feel like the Busiest Place on Earth! The key to making the most of any Disney World vacation is coming in prepared. There are attractions that have little to no wait except on the busiest of park days. This is a list of the best of those attractions at Magic Kingdom. There are others with low wait times, but these eight all have the Disney Addicts stamp of approval.
Classics
You can definitely visit some of Walt Disney World’s most classic attractions with little to no wait.
Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland usually has a very short wait even on busy park days.
Also in Fantasyland, Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel is a simple, beautiful attraction that will make your little park-goers very happy
Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland has a shorter wait time than most attractions and also has a fast-moving queue that is indoors and a welcome break from the sun on hot days
Tom Sawyer Island is a hidden gem that is a quick raft ride from Frontierland. The line for the raft is rarely long, and they really pack a lot of people on board for the short trip over to the island. Once there, you will find great places for your whole family to explore and a welcome break from the crowds.
Shows
Magic Kingdom doesn’t have as many shows as some of the other parks, but there are a couple of shows that are can’t miss for my family and we can almost always walk into the next show without having to wait for more than a few minutes.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a fun 3D film featuring Donald Duck and his crazy antics. It is full of beautiful sights, sounds and even smells!
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is found in Tomorrowland and is a fun comedy show that features some surprise audience involvement. We love to submit our own jokes via text while we wait a couple of minutes to go in and it is so fun to have them read during the show if we are lucky!
Characters
Looking for a character interaction with a lower wait time, be sure to check out Pete’s Silly Side Show in Storybook Circus. You will be able to meet Pluto, Daisy, Donald and Goofy all decked out in fun circus-themed costumes.
A Personal Favorite
I saved my personal favorite attraction in all of Disney World for last! Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a great way to take a break and enjoy an elevated ride around Tomorrowland. The PeopleMover brings you inside some of the lands most popular attractions and is a great way to see the park from a new perspective.
