Question: What is a Zebra Dome?

Answer: Just a little ball of awesome if you ask me! All joking aside, Zebra Domes are a dessert creation of Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. In my opinion they are the star of the dessert section of this amazing buffet. Since their introduction they have been one of the most popular items at the restaurant. A Zebra Dome is a thin layer of white cake with a coating of white chocolate ganache and then a drizzle of dark chocolate ganache. The secret ingredient, found in between the cake and the white chocolate ganache coating is an Amarula Liquor mousse.

Due to their extreme popularity, Zebra Domes can now also be found at The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge as well.
