What is ShopDisney Merch Pass?

ShopDisney recently released a new platform for limited edition collections. This new platform is called Merch Pass and many are confused as to what it is and how it works. Let’s answer those questions!

Merch Pass is a platform on ShopDisney through which guests are randomly chosen for the opportunity to purchase high-demand or limited edition items. The Merch Pass has been used mainly for the Minnie Mouse Main Attraction Collections that have been released in the last few months.

To make sure that you stay in the know on future opportunities, new product releases, promos and more, you can sign up to receive emails from ShopDisney. That way you won’t miss out on signing up for the chance to purchase limited edition items. Head here to sign up for email notifications.

The day that Merch Pass opens up, guests will need to login to their ShopDisney account and choose the items that they’d like to purchase. Each item has its own drawing. You can enter multiple drawings but only one entry per drawing is allowed. Within a few days after the drawing closes, you’ll receive an email if you were chosen. Emails will not be sent to those that are not chosen.

If you are selected, you will login to your ShopDisney account, and the items you were chosen for will be in your cart, ready for you to purchase. Being selected does not mean you are required to purchase. You can change your mind. If you choose to go through with the purchase, you will have a limited window to finalize the purchase.
