For those looking to sailing the seas with Disney to Europe the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, you may find yourself aboard the majestic Disney Magic. This ship has a lot to offer including amazing eateries, Broadway-style entertainment, incredible nightlife and fun activities for adults and kids alike. Beginning in March, guests will also get to enjoy a whole series of new enhancements. To give you a taste of what’s in store check out our list of the 5 exciting changes that guests aboard the Disney Magic will get to enjoy in 2018.
1. Rapunzel’s Royal Table – One of the highlights of sailing aboard the Disney Magic is the opportunity to end your day by watching the incredible Tangled: The Musical which is a part of the amazing onboard entertainment. In addition, the Disney Magic will be premiering a brand new dining experience dubbed Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The first table service restaurant to be themed after Tangled the eatery will feature characters and live entertainment that will transport Disney Magic guests to the kingdom of Carona for an evening of music and interactive fun featuring Rapunzel and those mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs. Inside the restaurant, guests will be magically transported to a regal castle ballroom complete with glowing lanterns and colorful drawings. The kingdom has come together to take part in a festive celebration for Rapunzel’s birthday that puts you in the heart of the action. With incredible food, festive entertainment and a chance to meet Rapunzel, this new dining experience has all the makings of a whimsical evening you won’t soon forget.
2. Re-designed Adults Only Cove Cafe – Adult guests can unwind in a brand new exclusive retreat redesigned in a sophisticated tropical style. Here visitors can brush all of their cares aside with a speciality cocktail, coffee or tea throughout the day or enjoy libations and light bites once the sun goes down. Nestled next to the Quiet Cove Pool, beverage tasting will also be available on select days for an additional fee. Signals Bar will also be undergoing a transformation with a similar tropical look and theme.
3. Upgraded Retreat for Teens – Vibe, the space on the ship designed especially for 14-17-year-olds is being transformed into a trendy urban loft. Here teens will be able to enjoy a new coffee and smoothie bar, play video games and enjoy virtual reality. Other cool activities will include a DJ spin-off and movie making. All activities are supervised by trained Disney counselors.
4. Club Disney Junior – Tiny tots checking into Disney’s Oceaneer Club will now be able to enjoy special Club Disney Junior educational and entertaining activities showcasing many of their much-loved Disney Junior pals.
5. Upgrades to Senses Spa & Salon – Adults visiting Senses, the onboard spa, will be treated to a redesigned Rainforest Room offering steam hydrotherapy sessions in a tranquil setting perfect for relaxing.
So what are you waiting for? Make 2018 the year you set sail with Disney Cruise Line! The new enhancements listed above will debut on the Disney Magic beginning on March 9, 2018 on sailings from Miami. These 4 or 5-night sailings make stops at Key West, Florida, Nassau, and Castaway Cay. Beginning on May 14, 2018 the Disney Magic repositions to Europe for the Summer Season.
