One thing that makes a Disney Cruise so special is all of those Disney touches you’ll find throughout. From meeting Mickey and friends to princess makeovers to pirate deck parties, guests do feel totally immersed in the sights and sounds of Disney. That’s why it seems only fitting that one of Disney’s most iconic snacks would be available for visitors to indulge in while at Sea. So is Disney’s famous pineapple soft-served treat available during your Disney Cruise? You bet!
We first made the announcement earlier this Summer on our sister site Chip and Co. that Dole Whips were reportedly being served aboard the Disney Dream. Since then, they have been unveiled across the entire Disney fleet as evidenced by a recent trip our very own Chip took on the Disney Wonder.
Everyone knows you can find Dole Whips at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland but when it comes to finding one at Sea they can be rather elusive. On the Disney Dream, Fantasy and Magic you’ll find Dole Whips available near Eye Scream and Frozone Treats. On the Disney Wonder, it’s Sulley’s Sips that you’re looking for.
And as an extra special treat for the adults, you can even buy one with Meyers Dark Rum or Shipwreck Spiced or Vanilla Rum. Here’s the Dole Whip machine aboard the Disney Wonder:
The cost of one of these tasty treats is $4.75 or prices start at $6.50 for the alcoholic versions. A quick heads up for all you Dole Whip purists, it has been noted that the Whips aboard the cruise ships are slightly different than you theme park varieties and are instead more of a freeze or smoothie. But according to Chip, they’re still mighty tasty.
