With Christmas on the horizon, the question I’m getting asked alot just now from those planning a late 2018 or Early 2019 visit to Walt Disney World is: “Will there still be Christmas decorations up when I get there?”
The answer is that it all depends. For arrivals before the end of December, you may still catch a glimpse of the last vestiges of Christmas. However, those Christmas elves that work around the clock on October 31st and November 1st miraculously making the transition from Halloween to Christmas will also be hard at work on January 1st and January 2nd removing these holiday trimmings. That means guests arriving the first week of January will see a dwindling of decorations with the majority of them being taken down by the first weekend in January.
Timings may vary slightly across the theme parks, resorts and at Disney Springs. However, guests travelling in January and hoping for a big dose of Christmas will sadly need to wait until November 2019!
Thinking about a late 2018 visit to Walt Disney World? There are still incredible 2018 discounts to be had. Packages are also currently available to book through until the end of 2019.
