The Canada pavilion in Epcot is actually something special. If you’re rushing through the World Showcase, it is rather easy to miss several beautiful highlights behind ‘the mansard-roofed Victorian-style “Hotel du Canada.”‘. Make sure you take a moment to explore everything the Canada pavilion has to offer
- What A View!
- Boulders similar to what you would see in the Canadian Rockies highlight the 30-foot waterfall placed in the center of the Canada pavilion. You truly feel like you’re not in Disney World when you step down towards ‘Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360’. Notice the beautiful gardens? They are inspired by Butchart Gardens near Victoria, BC. Vast and absolutely breathtaking, these gardens are the largest you’ll see of all the pavilions.
- National Treasures
- If you need a break from all that walking, eating, and drinking – make sure you stop by Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360. It’s dark, quiet, and has a wonderful view to experience all Canada has to offer. Recognize those familiar voices? The film experience is narrated by beloved Canadian actors Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy!
- Banding Together
- If entertainment is your favorite thing about Disney, make sure you stop by the Canada Mill Stage. Featuring some great Canadian talent, the Canada Mill Stage is a wonderful place to kick back with a snack and watch the performers do their thing!
- Food, Food, Glorious Food
- The Canada Pavillion has some delicious food options – but their dine-in restaurant is always making the must-eat lists! Le Cellier Steakhouse is known for its… well.. steak! You’ll find some of the best steak offerings in Walt Disney World at this Canadian pavilion establishment. The restaurant also has 3 different poutine offerings! If you’re a cheese fan, make sure to check out their Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup.
- If you are unable to get a seat at Le Cellier, check out Popcorn in Canada and grab yourself a Maple Popcorn! Additionally, Le Cellier is not the only stop for Poutine in Epcot. Make sure you stop by The Refreshment Port where they have Traditional Poutine in a quick service fashion!
