Out of all the countries featured in Epcot’s World Showcase, Morocco tends to be one that always seems to be slightly overlooked. Many may just grab a drink on their way around the world and breeze past. It does not have a ride, nor does it have a recent popular film that helps it shine. You can meet some favorites from Aladdin, but overall – when you walk around Morocco’s halls, you almost forget you are at a Disney park.
So what makes this hidden gem so loved? Check out our list below!
- Spice Road Table
- This lovely little restaurant works to give you a variety of FLAVOR. It is named “Spice Road Table” after all! There are small plates that have flavors from all over the Middle East, Greece, and even India. It is a lounge – so it’s nice to be able to stop by and grab a quick bite without having to worry about a reservation. The cocktails are delicious and the Wine list has plenty of different regions to choose from!
- Restaurant Marrakesh
- This dine-in restaurant offers such a great variety of dishes – everyone can find something to enjoy. Though the restaurant says ‘Moroccan Specialties’ – lots of these dishes can be found in many different countries throughout the Middle East. Additionally, we all know that Disney food can be pretty Carb heavy – especially if you’re making your way around the world. This restaurant is sure to give you a variety of veggies and flavors that may put that “healthy” pep in your step!
- Unique Shopping
- There are some great finds in Morocco, but the shops are few and far between. Since the closing of the Moroccan Marketplace, we are left one major highlight – Souk-Al-Magreb. But why is this a good thing? Though we all would prefer more to see and do, all the good stuff is condensed within the shops that can be found within one shop.
- A Quiet Moment
- With the hustle and bustle that comes with going to a Disney Park, Morocco offers a rare moment of quiet. Since the alleys in the back have been cleared of the busy shops, what you can now find in Epcot is a reprieve. A fountain trickles in the back and you can gather yourself before you head off to your next destination.
