We all know Walt Disney World Resort is known for having amazing food. The restaurants are in fact so popular that many fill up months in advance, and can be hard to get reservations at. With so many options, there are a few hidden gem restaurants that some guests may overlook. Here are 5 of my favorite restaurants at Disney World that I consider to be hidden gems.
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD. Skipper Canteen
I know for some, dining at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park means one of the signature locations- Cinderella’s Royal Table or Be Our Guest. However, one of my all-time favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World is Jungle Navigation Co. LTD. Skipper Canteen, located in Adventureland not far from its attraction counterpart- Jungle Cruise! Not only is the food delicious, but the servers serve up witty banter and corny jokes in true Jungle Cruise style. I’ve also found this location to be fairly easy to snag a reservation for!
Whispering Canyon Cafe
If you are looking for good food with a side of good times look no further than Whispering Canyon Cafe inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. This location serves up family-style barbecue and all-you-care-to-eat breakfasts and the servers are full of hilarious shenanigans. You are sure to have a good meal and a good time at this hidden gem.
Dahlia Lounge
Dahlia Lounge is one of the most amazing hidden gems I’ve found at Disney World. It is a rooftop lounge located at the top of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s Gran Destino Tower and the views are as amazing as the small plates and wine selection. While this isn’t a full-service restaurant with entrees, the small plates are delightful and the ambiance is unbelievable.
Garden Grill
Garden Grill is a fun character restaurant that features Farmer Mickey and Chip & Dale located in The Land Pavilion at EPCOT Park. The restaurant serves up all-you-care-to-eat family-style meals and actually slowly rotates! This restaurant also serves up fresh produce grown right there at The Land Pavilion!
Nomad Lounge
This location is another lounge that serves delicious small plates and appetizers and specialty craft cocktails and is one of my favorite places to relax! Nomad Lounge is located next to Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. This location offers both indoor and outdoor seating and serves up some of the best cocktails on property.
