A new table service restaurant is opening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be opening in Toy Story Land on March 23rd. Reservations for the restaurant open on February 21st. This location will offer barbecue classics family-style.
At another Disney World dining location, guests will once again be able to enjoy a buffet! The buffet is returning to Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on March 1st. Since the restaurant reopened after the pandemic, guests enjoyed family-style dining at their table. Starting next month, guests will once again get to enjoy a buffet!
My favorite festival is returning to Walt Disney World in March! The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival kicks off on March 1st and runs through July 5th. This festival will feature guest-favorites like the Garden Rocks Concert, special dining packages, old and new topiaries, a scavenger hunt, and so much more! I can’t wait to experience the festival this year!
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, an attraction currently closed for refurbishment will be reopening. Kali River Rapids has been closed for over a month now for some maintenance. Disney has not announced an exact reopening date but the Disney World website lists operating times for the ride starting on March 17. Plan on the ride opening just in time for some Spring Break guests!
While some offerings are opening in March, one big experience is coming to an end. Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration ends March 31, 2023. If you will be visiting the parks in March, you’ll have all month to experience the decor, merchandise, food and more. Come April 1st, the celebration will be over.
