5 Places at Disney World That Don’t Allow Kids

Walt Disney World Resort is commonly mistaken for a place only for kids and families. However, Disney World can be an amazing place for adults to vacation too! Disney even has a few select places where children are prohibited! That’s right! There are actually a few places at Disney that are adult-only! So if you are ever on a Disney vacation minus minors be sure to check these 5 places out!

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is an enchanted tiki bar inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The bar is known for its fun atmosphere full of theatrics and surprises, and after 8 pm guests must be 21 or older to enter.

Atlantic Dance Hall

Another place you won’t find kids at Disney World is Atlantic Dance Hall located on Disney’s Boardwalk. This establishment is a nightclub with an Art Deco vibe that is only open Thursdays through Sundays from 8 pm to 1 am and all guests must be 21 and older to enter.

Jellyrolls

Not too far from Atlantic Dance Hall is Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar also located on Disney’s Boardwalk. The piano bar is currently open Thursday through Sunday from 7 pm to 1:45 am each week and is also only for ages 21 and up.

Spas

Most of the spas at Walt Disney World Resort are reserved for those age 18 and up. Kids under the age of 18 are welcome to get treatments but they must be accompanied by an adult.

The Edison

The Edison is a restaurant and bar located in Disney Springs. The Edison is only open for dinner and becomes 21 and up after 10 pm. The Edison is known for providing fun entertainment such as live music and even burlesque shows, so itis a great spot for Disney nightlife.
