5 Ways to Celebrate International Fairy Day at Walt Disney World 1

Did you know that June 24th is International Fairy Day? You celebrate this in the comfort of your own home by pulling up a movie like Peter Pan or Sleeping Beauty – or you can head to Walt Disney World and celebrate it the Disney Parks way! There is plenty to do in honor of this special day, and we can think of no better place than the Happiest – and most Magical Place on Earth! Check out the list below and let us know how you plan on celebrating International Fairy Day!

  • Parade Character Spot
    • As you watch one of the many parades gliding through Main Street U.S.A., keep an eye out for some of our favorite Disney fairies. Tinker Bell can be spotted – but she’s not the only Fairy! Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, as well as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are often spotted. We love seeing these fabulous faeries!
  • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: Pixie Dust Treatment!
    • Whether you’re taking your little one to get glammed at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or you’re looking for a bit of magic yourself, definitely stop on by! A Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice is wand-ready and prepared to give you a free Pixie Dust treatment. We love this little bit of Disney magic!
  • Flower and Garden: Stop by Tinker Bell’s Fairy House Garden
    • Tinker Bell deserves her own stage and she gets the spotlight she deserves at EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival. Tinker Bell’s display is prominent and absolutely gorgeous – so stop by and admire this topiary at the United Kingdom Pavilion!
  • Peter Pan’s Flight
    • Pay homage to Tinker Bell in Peter Pan’s Flight. I mean, you couldn’t take to the sky without a little bit of Pixie Dust. If it’s been a minute since you’ve waited in line for Peter Pan’s Flight, the queue may feature a little futtering Fairy flitting around – so keep a lookout!
  • Happily Ever After
    • End your Magic Kingdom Day by watching the dazzling fireworks show that features highlights from Tinker Bell herself! If you have yet to see Happily Ever After – you’re in for a treat. The show is one of the highlights of the whole Magic Kingdom experience and we can’t wait for you to see it yourself.

No matter how you decide to celebrate International Fairy Day, we hope you do it with fun in your heart and pep in your step. Just think of a happy thought and have a smile in your heart – that’s all you need!
