Disney World’s fall season is upon us, which means it’s time for Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival! This year includes the return of many fan favorite events along with some new ones that have us really excited. Check out these 5 Food & Wine experiences that can’t be missed!
1. Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!
Ready to get hands-on with some expert chefs? Head to Epcot’s Festival Center for this special event, which returns again this year! Learn how to create fabulous cocktails, healthy meals, sweet treats, and more alongside a guest chef. Each experience is interactive and guided, and you can enjoy your special creation at the end of the event! View the official event calendar from Disney here. Admission to Epcot is required, and tickets cost $49 per guest plus tax. The event runs Mondays through Thursdays from 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM. You can make reservations via your My Disney Experience account or by calling (407) 939-3378.
2. Cheese Seminars
If you think everything’s better with cheese, then this seminar is for you! Enjoy decadent international cheeses at this special event, where guest cheesemakers will explain aromas, textures, and flavor levels or popular and unique cheeses. Guests can feast upon sample selections, which will be paired with complementary wines, craft beers, and other beverages. Cheese seminars will be held at Chef’s Showcase at the Festival Center from 9:45 AM – 11:15 AM on the following select Saturdays: 9/16, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/28, and 11/11. Admission to Epcot is required, and tickets cost $89 per guest plus tax, although gratuity is included. Reservations can be made through your My Disney Experience account or by calling (407) 939-3378.
3. Eat to the Beat Dining Package
Enjoy dinner at one of Epcot’s delicious restaurants and receive guaranteed seating at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series! Dining packages include an appetizer, entree, and dessert or one full buffet or family-style dining along with a non-alcoholic beverage and a seat to the evening’s Eat the Beat Concert. Nightly concerts will take place through November 13th at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM at the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot’s World Showcase. Reservations can be made at one of these 15 restaurants: Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion; Coral Reef Restaurant in The Living Seas Pavilion; Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion; The Garden Grill Restaurant in The Land Pavilion; Nine Dragons Restaurant in the China Pavilion; Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion; Spice Road Table in the Morocco Pavilion; Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in the Italy Pavilion; Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy Pavilion; Chefs de France in the France Pavilion; Tokyo Dining in the Japan Pavilion; Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion; San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico Pavilion; La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion; and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion. Advanced reservations are required and can be made online or by calling (407) 939-3378. Prices vary based on time of day and restaurant. 4. What’s Cookin’ With…
Start your morning off with a well-known culinary pro! This fan favorite experience allows guests to enjoy the featured chef’s favorite breakfast dish while he or she shares cooking tips and tricks. Guests will also enjoy a special cooking demo, a Q and A session, and a sparkling toast! This event takes place at the Festival Center’s Chef’s Showcase and costs $129 per person plus tax; admission to Epcot is required. Reserve your spot online or by calling (407) 939-3378. Celebrate Epcot’s 35th anniversary and enjoy a magical evening with one of Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival’s famous events! Party for the Senses, located at the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion, features famous chefs and entertainers in an elegant setting filled with food, drinks, music, and fun. Tickets to this event also include reserved seating for the 5:30 PM or 6:45 PM Eat to the Beat concert series! Dates include 9/23, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, and 11/11. The 3 tiers of pricing for this event, which takes place from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM, include the following: the Wine View Lounge ($329 per guest plus tax), reserved seating ($199 per guest plus tax), and guaranteed seating ($179 per guest plus tax). Epcot admission is not included, and advanced reservations must be made online or by calling (407) 939-3378.
