Disney announced earlier this year that its complimentary airport shuttle, Disney Magical Express, will be discontinued at the end of 2021. Guests visiting Walt Disney World in 2022 will need to find a different way to get from the Orlando airport to their Disney resort. We now know what service will be replacing Disney Magical Express in 2022.

Mears Transportation Group announced today it will offer a new direct service from Orlando International Airport to Disney World area hotels starting January 2022. This service, Mears Connect, will offer the same safe and reliable service the company has provided millions of guests for years. It will provide fast and convenient transportation service for visitors in high occupancy vehicles, thereby reducing traffic and lowering environmental impacts.

Enhancements to ensure greater convenience and vehicle options will also be available. Pricing will be announced later this year along with the launch of a custom reservation platform. Guests will be able to make reservations starting in May 2021.
