The Japan Pavilion is such a great place to explore as you walk around the World Showcase. When you first enter the area, your eyes are immediately drawn to two highlights – the Japanese Pagoda and the torii gate that can be found when you look out to the water. These two pieces really bring important architecture and history to the forefront. So what can you enjoy at the Japan pavilion – aside from the breathtaking views? Check out our list below!
- Unique Shopping
- The Mitsukoshi Department Store is something special to behold. A place that has something for everyone, you can check out everything from unique snacks, amazing clothing options, and even pearl shucking! Make sure you take your time as you walk through this store – there is simply too much to see!
- All The Food
- Looking for a delicious meal? Well, what the Japan Pavilion lacks in rides it makes up for in its cuisines. There are plenty of options to choose from if you’re looking for a bite – and you simply can’t go wrong.
- Katsura Grill: Looking for a hearty rice and meat dish – maybe looking to add a bit of a vegetable after a long day of drinks? Check out Katsura grill and order off the Osusume portion of the menu!
- Tokyo Dining: You’ll forget you’re even at a Disney Park when you step into Tokyo Dining. The ambiance of the restaurant whilst you grab the Fresh Sashimi Sampler.
- Teppan Edo: Looking for everything from Teppanyaki to Sushi? Teppan Edo has it all. This restaurant consistently ranks highly on places to eat in Epcot, so make sure you try to get a seat – and have a Volcano Roll for me!
- Takumi-Tei: A feast for the senses, this restaurant has plenty to look forward to. With the 5 themed rooms to sit in, you’ll get to choose between water, wood, earth, stone or washi paper. You can choose your own adventure with what you’re looking to eat – but plenty of fans rave about the Nikomi Wagyu.
- Kiosks: Looking for some quick snacks and drinks? Check out Kabuki Cafe and Garden House for some great options!
- Looking for a delicious meal? Well, what the Japan Pavilion lacks in rides it makes up for in its cuisines. There are plenty of options to choose from if you’re looking for a bite – and you simply can’t go wrong.
- Kawaii Please!
- Looking to enjoy a moment of cute? Check out Bijutsu-kan where you can check out the Japans cute culture! This is a just a really breath of fresh air and a fascinating walk-through!
- Drum Away
- If you have never seen the Matsuriza – traditional Taiko drummers – it is something that you should definitely take the time out to witness. Make sure you look out for showtimes so you don’t miss this thundering and beautiful talent!
