It’s important to note that Disney assumed control of the Morocco pavilion in 2020, along with its food, beverage, and merchandise operations. This has led to the temporary closure of some shops and restaurants.

Previously, Morocco was one of the few pavilions operating independently from Disney.

Despite Disney’s takeover, primarily due to the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Moroccan Embassy and Morocco Tourism Board continue to serve as cultural consultants.

Tangierine Cafe

Tangierine Café, typically a standard Quick Service restaurant, hasn’t reopened in its original form since 2020.

Currently, this dining location is operating as a festival booth, often referred to as “Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina.”

Oasis Sweets & Sips

Oasis Sweets & Sips, a small Quick Service located near Souk-Al-Magreb, is the perfect spot to sample a variety of Moroccan pastries. Choose from individual pastries or convenient boxes containing 3, 5, or 7 options. Enjoy your treats with a selection of non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages.

Spice Road Table

Don’t overlook Spice Road Table. It’s one of the premier dining destinations in World Showcase. Enjoy the stunning lagoon views from the outdoor seating area. Reservations are accepted, and walk-ups are also welcome. You can even join the walk-up list through the My Disney Experience app.

Spice Road Table offers a more “lounge” atmosphere, where you can order a variety of Mediterranean small plates. Additionally, they have a substantial drink menu.

Shops

All but one store in the Morocco pavilion is currently closed. Shopping in the pavilion has been inconsistent since Disney assumed control in 2020.

Morocco’s shops are renowned for their quality, making it unfortunate that shopping opportunities are limited at present. However, there’s good news: one store has reopened!

Souk-Al-Magreb

Souk-Al-Magreb is now open. This shop offers a variety of Moroccan goods, including clothing, bags, jewelry, hats, and even Aladdin merchandise.

Gallery of Arts & History

Did you know there’s a Gallery of Arts and History exhibit in the Morocco pavilion?

Upon entering the pavilion, you’ll notice the bright red doors to your left. The current theme of the gallery is “Race Against the Sun: Ancient Technique to Modern Competition.”

As described by Disney, the exhibit showcases two renowned modern-day competitions, the Marathon des Sables and the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc, along with the rich history of the Sahara’s ancient inhabitants, the Berbers.

Tip: There are occasionally benches inside the gallery, providing a peaceful retreat from the crowds and a cool respite on hot days.

Fez House

The Fez House is a breathtaking room featuring comfortable benches, exquisite tilework, and a calming fountain. Located to the left after passing through the archway into the main pavilion area, it’s a serene escape.

fountain

A Disney PhotoPass photographer has been occasionally seen in the pavilion. If not, take advantage of the main fountain as a picturesque backdrop for your photos. It’s a beautiful spot to capture memorable moments.
