We Went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025—Here’s Our Full Review

The holiday season has officially kicked off at Magic Kingdom! Last night, we attended the very first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 and soaked up all the festive magic. If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World this November or December, get ready, because our full review starts now!

We entered Magic Kingdom early as guests can get in as early as 4 pm with the event ticket. We got to enjoy all of the holiday decor in the park, listen to the Dapper Dans, and pick up our party keepsake before the official start time. When guests check in for the event, they’re given a party map, a wristband, and a party keepsake. This year it is an ornament that matches the exclusive party popcorn bucket. It’s a cute red truck driven by Mickey Mouse with a Christmas tree in the back! The matching popcorn bucket is exclusive to the Christmas party and features even more cute details than the ornament.

There are multiple characters to meet and interact with during the party! Some are specific to the event like the gingerbread men and a snowflake on stilts, and the polar bears.

Other characters at the party are regulars that have dressed up for the event! We met sisters Anna and Elsa dressed in their winter outfits in Fantasyland. Daisy, Donald, and Scrooge McDuck can be found in Pete’s Silly Sideshow, also dressed in their holiday best. We found Stitch in Tomorrowland wearing a festive Hawaiian shirt. And you can’t miss Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Town Square Theater! Their outfits are the cutest!

Don’t skip out on seeing the jolly old elf himself! Santa Claus is greeting guests in Storybook Circus. Go say hi and make sure you let him know what you want for Christmas.

After seeing some of our favorite characters, we spent some time in Tomorrowland at Club Tinsel! Chip ‘n’ Dale along with Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde joined some Christmas elves at this mega fun dance party.

There are two times to watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: 8:30 pm and 11 pm. We recommend catching the later time as there are typically fewer people so you can get a better viewing spot. It’s a great way to end the night, especially with the “snow” falling on Main Street at the end of the parade.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are also not to be missed! Watch as the sky becomes alight with festive colors to the tune of some of your favorite carols like “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The fireworks take place at 10 pm.

For those who like to take home souvenirs from the event, there are so many options exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Minnie ears, spirit jerseys, mugs, bags, photo frames, shirts, and more. All of that merchandise is only available to guests attending the party so grab your ticket if you want some of that merch.

We can’t forget the cookies, cocoa, and other refreshments that are included in admission to the party! There are multiple stops throughout the park to get your free treats, and you can get as many as you want! Here’s the lineup:

  • Red Velvet Cake Cookie- The Lunching Pad
  • Buttercream-Frosted Chocolate Chip Cookie- Cosmic Ray’s
  • Snowman-Shaped Pretzel- Fantasyland Railroad Station
  • Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie- Gaston’s Tavern
  • Hot Cocoa Cookie- Tortuga Tavern
  • Buttercream-Frosted Gingerbread Cookie- Sunshine Tree Terrace

Overall, we had a jolly time at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year! Have you had a chance to experience this special event?
