Universal Celebrates Butterbeer Season with New Waffle, Cream Puffs and Epic Universe Treats

Grab your frothy mugs because Butterbeer Season is officially brewing across Universal Orlando Resort and Universal parks around the globe. From March 1 through May 31 in Orlando, Hollywood, and Beijing, and April 1 through May 17 in Japan, fans can sip, snack, and shop their way through a celebration dedicated to the most iconic drink in the wizarding world.

In Orlando, Butterbeer Season stretches across all three Wizarding World lands, including Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, and the Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe. The headline debut this year is the brand new Butterbeer Waffle, arriving for a limited time at the Three Broomsticks and the Leaky Cauldron.

Universal Orlando is also rolling out a Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple, and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar at Honeydukes and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop. Over in the Ministry of Magic, guests can indulge in a Biéraubeurre Crème Brûlée at Café L’air de la Siréne. Even better, Butterbeer flavored truffles and macarons are making their debut at K. Rammelle and will stick around year-round.

Universal Studios Hollywood is joining the fun with the return of the Butterbeer Cream Puff and new seasonal merchandise including a Spirit Jersey, t-shirt, bucket hat, and more. Internationally, Universal Studios Japan and Universal Beijing Resort will feature their own limited time Butterbeer Cream Puff, with Beijing also offering a collectible 25 Years of Magic Butterbeer Stein.
