According to new lore revealed by Michael Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative for HHN, this year’s story begins with Dr. Oddfellow, a powerful occultist who disguised his dark ambitions behind a traveling circus. But this was no ordinary big top. The carnival was a carefully constructed machine, designed to channel fear, sacrifice, and supernatural forces tied to the Zodiac into raw power. Every performer, every act, every illusion served a purpose. Control was everything.

Enter Jack.

Jack the Clown began as a killer who turned performance into a weapon, using theatrics to lure in victims. When he joined Oddfellow’s carnival, the two became part of the same terrifying system, but with completely different intentions. Where Oddfellow sought precision and ritual, Jack thrived in chaos, turning the carnival into his personal stage of unpredictable and increasingly violent spectacle.

Naturally, that chaos became a problem.

Oddfellow attempted to restore control the only way he knew how. He killed Jack and sealed him inside a box, believing he had contained the madness for good. But as any HHN fan knows… Jack doesn’t stay down for long.

Guests will step directly into this origin story in the newly announced haunted house, “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.” Inside the mysterious “Oddverse,” Dr. Oddfellow narrates Jack’s transformation from human killer into something far more dangerous. But Jack hijacks the story, turning the experience into a full-blown battle for dominance between chaos and control.

And then comes the twist.

As their conflict escalates, both icons realize something far more terrifying than their rivalry. Alone, their power is limited. Together… it becomes unstoppable.
