DVC Members and Annual Passholders Get Early Access to Muppets Coaster and Soarin’ Across America at Walt Disney World

Two fan-favorite attractions are getting major updates at Walt Disney World, and Disney is rolling out the red carpet early for both Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders. If you fall into either group, you may be among the first to experience Soarin’ Across America and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets before their official May 26, 2026 opening.

Let’s break down how each group gets in on the action.

Annual Passholders have clearly defined preview dates and procedures. Soarin’ Across America will preview May 19 and 20 at EPCOT using a standard standby queue, making this the easier of the two experiences to access.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will preview May 21 through 23, but this one comes with a twist. Guests will need to join a virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app, with distribution times at 7 AM, 11 AM, and 3 PM. The early morning drop requires a Hollywood Studios reservation, while later drops offer more flexibility. Spots are limited, so it will be a bit of a digital dash to secure your ride.

Meanwhile, Disney Vacation Club Members get a slightly different experience. Eligible Members staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel during the preview window will be automatically registered for previews of both attractions. No need to join a virtual queue or compete for boarding groups. Instead, DVC Members should watch their email for specific instructions and timing.

While Disney has not officially listed DVC preview dates, they are expected to overlap with the Annual Passholder windows, putting them squarely in that same mid to late May timeframe.

There are a few additional details to keep in mind. Soarin’ Around the World will close beginning May 14 to prepare for the return of Soarin’ Across America. And when Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens on May 26, Disney has confirmed there will be no virtual queue in place, meaning standby will be the main option.
