I’ve been refreshing my holiday wish list all morning, because Disney just laid out the full plan for the Disney World holidays 2026 season. The festivities run from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027, and there’s a lot packed into those eight weeks: castle shows, ride overlays, Santa sightings and some genuinely good room discounts.
Here’s my park-by-park breakdown of everything I’m excited about, plus the deals I’d look at first if you’re still deciding when to book.
Disney World Holidays 2026 at a Glance
- Season dates: November 13, 2026, to January 6, 2027
- Separately ticketed parties: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, both on select nights
- Included with admission: EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, November 27 to December 30
- New holiday ride soundtracks: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Alien Swirling Saucers and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Magic Kingdom: My Favorite Place to Start
There’s nothing like that first look down Main Street, U.S.A. once the garland and wreaths go up. Here’s what Magic Kingdom has planned:
- “Frozen Holiday Surprise!” Olaf and over 100 of his snowgie siblings trim Cinderella Castle with ornaments and wreaths, Anna and Kristoff stop by, and Elsa turns the castle into a shimmering ice palace. This is the moment I’ll be camped out for.
- Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away runs twice a night, except on party nights.
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade steps in on Very Merry Christmas Party nights.
- Jingle Cruise is back, and the skippers’ holiday puns start before you even board, since the queue gets decorated too.
- Extra decor pops up at Cinderella Castle, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion, so bring your Christmas card poses.

EPCOT: Food, Music and a Holiday Galaxy
- The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 to December 30, 2026, with holiday traditions and flavors from around World Showcase. The full food lineup hasn’t been released yet, so I’m holding my appetite until the foodie guide drops.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind gets a limited-time holiday track list with three songs from November 25, 2026, to January 6, 2027. Blasting through space to a Christmas tune? Yes, please.

Hollywood Studios: The Park With the Most New Holiday Fun
If I had to pick the park with the biggest holiday glow-up this year, it’s Hollywood Studios.
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay (November 4 to January 6) has The Electric Mayhem playing “Holiday Road” with Kermit and Fozzie, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” with Jennifer Hudson, “Silver Bells” with Cyndi Lauper, and “Little Saint Nick.”

- Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams spins holiday tracks from November 4 to January 6, including “Deck the Halls,” “Toyland,” “Swirling, Swirling, Saucers” and my new favorite song title, “Joy to the Swirl.”

- “Sunset Seasons Greetings” projections turn the Hollywood Tower Hotel into a Muppets gingerbread house, a Toy Story toy hotel, a snowy Arendelle and a village straight out of Mickey’s Christmas Carol.
- The Frozen Sing-Along at the Hyperion Theater ends with a holiday finale starring Olaf.
- Woody, Jessie and Buzz dress up in their holiday best in Toy Story Land, and Gertie gets in on the fun at Echo Lake.
- Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine has herbed chicken, beef tenderloin, seared salmon, spice-rubbed pork loin, a plant-based mushroom-farro risotto, seasonal bread pudding and Mississippi mud pie. Book this one early.
- Walt Disney Presents adds holiday film props plus the shorts On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree and The Art of Skiing.
- Disney Jollywood Nights returns on select nights as a separate ticket.

Animal Kingdom: A Wild Little Winter
- Santa’s Holiday Grove at Theater in the Wild has a snowy trail, holiday snacks and Santa himself.
- The Merry Menagerie puppets (penguins, reindeer, foxes and polar bears) wander Discovery Island, and they’re my favorite photo op in the park.
- “Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition” plays about every 10 minutes after sunset.
- The ECO-RHYTHMiCS drum up some eco-friendly holiday cheer, and Mickey and Minnie greet guests in holiday explorer gear at Adventurers Outpost.
- Artist Rob Kaz is at Island Mercantile November 1 to 22.

Disney Springs: Shopping, Snow and Trees
- The Christmas Tree Stroll is back, including the Toy Story tree.
- “Snow” falls nightly in Town Center.
- The Hallmark holiday pop-up carries items from Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.
- Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar adds its holiday overlay and seasonal sips.
- Live local bands play select nights at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage.

Finding Santa and Holiday Fun at the Resorts
Santa makes the rounds at all four theme parks, and he’s at Disney Springs through December 24. Check My Disney Experience for times, or see my guide on where to find Santa Claus at Disney World.
The resorts go all out, too, with big holiday decor and seasonal treats. One of my favorite cozy extras is the sleigh and carriage ride at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Fort Wilderness, which winds through the campground’s wooded trails.

Holiday Room Deals Worth Booking
This is the part your wallet will like. All of these opened for booking June 25:
- Disney+ Perks: a free Park Hopper add-on plus up to 25% off a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package for stays September 25 to October 8, October 19 to 31, November 15 to 28, and December 13 to 24. Packages are limited and you’ll need proof of your subscription. Details are at disneyplus.com/perks.
- Everyone: up to 20% off select rooms for stays October 4 to December 24.
- Florida residents: up to 25% off for stays October 19 to 31, November 15 to 28, and December 13 to 24.
- Annual Passholders: up to 30% off select rooms for stays October 4 to December 24.

If you’re a Passholder eyeing early December, that 30% discount plus Jollywood Nights is a pretty perfect combo. As for me, I’ll be the one belting “Joy to the Swirl” on the saucers before running over to catch Elsa’s castle moment. Which holiday experience is first on your list?
