holiday decorations Hollywood Studios Echo Lake Christmas tree daylight

Hollywood Studios is officially dressed for the holidays and we could not be more excited! From glittering garland on Hollywood Boulevard to Gertie in her Santa hat at Echo Lake, the park feels festive from the moment you walk through the gates. Here is our first look at the holiday decorations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the daylight, including a stop inside the new Disney Takes a Holiday exhibit.

Holidays at Walt Disney World officially run from Friday, November 13, 2026, through Tuesday, January 6, 2027, but the park is already glowing. Hollywood Boulevard Holiday Decorations

Start on Hollywood Boulevard, where festive garland stretches between the buildings with ornaments and big yellow stars that pop against the Florida sky. Lampposts pick up the star theme, and the shop windows lean all the way into Christmas with film-reel wreaths and classic Studios sparkle. It is the perfect warm-up before the big Echo Lake photo stops.

Echo Lake Christmas Tree and Gertie

Echo Lake is the daytime showstopper. The Christmas tree rises from the island with oversized colorful ornaments floating on the water around it, and Dinosaur Gertie is back in her oversized red Santa hat with a giant red ornament in her mouth. We lingered for photos from every angle because this view just screams holiday Hollywood Studios.

Around the walkways the mid-century details keep the magic going. Look for the glossy Bambi statue tucked into the landscaping, and lampposts wrapped in garland with retro holiday signs. It is an easy place to wander slowly and soak it all in.

Toy Story Land Christmas Details

Toy Story Land goes full character-sized Christmas and we love every bit of it. Hamm sports a red-and-white Santa hat near Slinky Dog Dash, while oversized Little Green Men ornaments stack like giant baubles. Woody leans against the Toy Story Land sign in a red-and-white holiday scarf, Jessie and Rex stretch a string of oversized Christmas lights, and Rex even gets cardboard reindeer antlers on a tower of blocks.

Those playful props pair perfectly with the seasonal soundtrack spinning nearby on Alien Swirling Saucers, so the whole land feels merry even between photo stops.

Disney Takes a Holiday Exhibit at Walt Disney Presents

Do not miss the new Disney Takes a Holiday exhibit inside Walt Disney Presents. The marquee outside already advertises classic animated holiday shorts and the special exhibit, and once you step inside the lobby fills with festive display cases celebrating how the Disney parks get ready for Christmas.

Our favorite vignette is the cozy Letters for Santa living room scene with a leather armchair, plaid throw, red North Pole mailbox, and oversized envelopes from Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Nearby cases dig into park holiday history including Holiday Services details and a look at how decorations come to life across Walt Disney World.

The Walt Disney Theater is also in holiday mode with classic shorts On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, and The Art of Skiing, so it is a cool air-conditioned break that still feels totally festive. The holiday offerings at Walt Disney Presents continue through the season, so add it to your daytime Studios stroll.
