When the sun drops at Hollywood Studios, the Christmas decorations turn into pure magic! Echo Lake glows, Gertie shines in her Santa hat, and Hollywood Boulevard sparkles all the way to the Chinese Theatre. Here is our nighttime tour of the Christmas decorations at Hollywood Studios for that after-dark holiday glow.
The festive look is part of Holidays at Walt Disney World and pairs beautifully with our daytime first look at the holiday decorations. If you are building a full holiday park day, also peek at our Magic Kingdom Christmas decorations and Animal Kingdom Christmas décor.
Echo Lake Christmas Decorations at Night
Echo Lake after dark is the holiday postcard we wait for all year. The tree lights up with multicolored bulbs and a glowing star, the floating ornaments shine from within, and Gertie’s Santa hat and mouth ornament read clearly against the blue twilight. Reflections on the water make this one of the strongest photo spots in the park.

Close by, a set of retro holiday kid statues gathers around oversized kitchenware, with one figure in a giant teacup, another holding a sugar cube, and a third gripping a giant spoon. The glossy mid-century figures sit in a planter edged with warm string lights and add the perfect kitschy Christmas touch near Echo Lake.

Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard Glow
Once evening settles in, Hollywood Boulevard’s palm-tree lights and star lampposts lead the eye toward the Chinese Theatre. Holiday garland on the facades picks up warm light, and storefront windows glow with festive displays that are easy to miss in the daytime rush. On Sunset Boulevard buildings carry lit garland and ornaments along the upper architecture for another layer of holiday sparkle.

More Nighttime Holiday Stops
Keep walking and you will find even more after-dark details, from lit garland around Animation to soft twinkle lights tucked into corners of the park. We love slowing down for these quieter nighttime moments between bigger photo stops.

How to Enjoy Christmas Decorations at Hollywood Studios After Dark
These Christmas decorations are part of the regular park evening experience, so you do not need a party ticket to enjoy the glow. Separately, Disney Jollywood Nights is the ticketed after-hours celebration with its own entertainment on select nights from November 7, 2026, to January 5, 2027.
If you only have one evening, start at Echo Lake for the tree and Gertie, stroll Hollywood Boulevard while the stars and palm lights are on, then finish with a few more sparkling stops around Sunset and Animation. The nighttime Christmas decorations at Hollywood Studios are pure holiday joy, and we cannot wait to walk this route again!
