Tips for Surviving the Night
- Stay and Scream: If you have a Scream Early Ticket or daytime admission to Universal Studios Florida, take advantage of the Stay and Scream holding areas. These areas allow you to be among the first to enter the haunted houses when the event begins, giving you a head start on the scares.
- Express Pass: Lines for the haunted houses can get long, especially as the night progresses. If you want to experience as many houses as possible with minimal wait times, consider purchasing an Express Pass. While available online, a limited amount of unlimited Express Passes may be available at the event.
- Plan for a Late Night: The later it gets, the shorter the lines tend to be. If you’re up for it, plan on staying late to hit up those last haunted houses with minimal waits.
- Opening Scaremonies: Don’t miss the opening Scaremonies at the park entrance. It’s the perfect way to kick off your night of terror with a bang.
- Dining and Shopping: Take breaks between the scares by refueling at themed dining locations and shopping for exclusive Halloween Horror Nights merchandise, including fan-favorite Lil’ Boo.
Haunted Houses and Scare Zones
This year’s event features 10 all-new haunted houses, including:
- A Quiet Place
- Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
- Insidious: The Further
- Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines
- along with 6 houses based on original stories rather than existing IP (Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, Slaughter Sinema 2, The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Major Sweets Candy Factory, Goblin’s Feast, and Triplets of Terror).
In addition to the haunted houses, there are five terrifying scare zones, such as Enter the Blumhouse and Swamp of the Undead, where fear lurks around every corner.
