Our first day at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays was a delightful escape into a world of holiday wonder. The park was adorned with stunning Christmas decorations, from towering Christmas trees to intricate ornaments. The attention to detail was truly impressive, creating a magical ambiance that transported us to a winter wonderland.

One of the highlights of our day was the Candlelight Processional, narrated by the talented Josh Gad who stars as the voice of Olaf the snowman in Frozen. His captivating storytelling, combined with the powerful performances of the choir and orchestra, created a truly inspiring experience!
We also immersed ourselves in diverse holiday traditions by visiting the Holiday Storyteller booths. It was fascinating to learn about customs from around the world, adding a unique cultural dimension to our holiday celebration.
As we were looking at some of the great merchandise, we found Figment all dressed and ready for the holidays in his adorable “ugly” sweater! You can even buy your own sweater to match him!
A special treat awaited us as we encountered the enchanting Belle, adorned in her stunning Christmas gown. Her regal presence added a touch of magic to our day, captivating both young and old.
Indulging in the culinary delights of the Festival was a delicious highlight! We embarked on the Holiday Cookie Stroll, savoring a variety of delectable treats, such as the Spaceship Earth Tile Gingerbread Triangle, the Almond Linzer Cookie from Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie from Yukon Holiday Kitchen, Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Crinkle Cookie from Nochebuena Cocina, and the Black and White Cookie from L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen and more!
We also tried the delicious (and adorable) Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Epcot cookie. Though its not part of the stroll, this popular returning cookie is a must-try!
For a serene and enchanting experience, we recommend riding Living with the Land at night. The greenhouses were illuminated with festive lights, creating a peaceful and magical ambiance.
And let’s not forget the amazing merchandise! We scored some super cute Figment holiday sweaters, festive pins, and even a limited-edition handbag with the Festival of the Holidays logo. It was the perfect way to bring a little bit of Disney magic home with us.
No holiday event would be complete without a visit to see Santa! You can find him at the Odyssey Pavilion.
As the day drew to a close, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder and joy. EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays truly captured the spirit of the season, offering a memorable experience for the whole family. We can’t wait to return and create more magical memories!
