Activities for Adults on a Disney Cruise

Are you thinking about going on a cruise but concerned Disney cruises are just for kids? Think again! There is plenty of activities geared towards adults only that allow for adults to have just as much fun as the kids (if not more!)

Palo is an adult only fine dining experience aboard ALL 4 Disney cruise ships. Palo features Northern Italian Cuisine with foods like grilled Portobello mushrooms, lightly crusted calamari, and baked chicken with ricotta. Although there is an additional fee of $25 per adult to eat here, you can eat as much as you would like. However, don’t forget to leave room for dessert- two words: Chocolate Souffle!

Bars and Lounges– Each Disney Cruise ship has an entire deck of adult only bars and lounges. Relax with a cocktail, listen to live music or dance the night away- whatever you choose to do DCL doesn’t disappoint!

Spas– Disney Cruise Line offers on board spas for pampering and relaxation. Choose from a variety of treatments such as massages, manicures, pedicures, body wraps, hairstyling and more! These spa treatments are all available to you an additional cost but well worth it!

Mixology Class is essentially a mini bartending class where you learn to make popular cocktails and taste them! You will learn to make things like mojitos, margaritas, martinis and more! It is $20 per person for a 45 minute class and you get to make (and drink) 5 different drinks.

Serenity Bay- Many of the DCL cruises visit Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. If you are sans kids, you can sneak off on a separate, private adults only beach area. Rumor has it they also have a slightly better menu and you can occasionally get things like steak and lobster- so it’s definitely worth checking out!

Quiet Cove Pool is for DCL guests 18 and over. Considered by many to be the ships best kept secret, it is an on-board oasis with a relaxing atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Adult cruisers will love this kid free setting that allows you to relax, unwind and soak up the sun!

Daytime Activities– Throughout the day Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of activities for adults. There’s trivia, volleyball, mini golf, ping pong tournaments, Jackpot Bingo, beer, wine and martini tastings and more. There is absolutely something for everyone!
