Some exciting news to celebrate this week after the news of more Walt Disney World Resort hotels opening up! Disney fans will be so happy to hear that Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts at Walt Disney World now have reopening dates along with the other two All Star resorts.
Starting July 8, 2021, bookings will be able to be made for the following resorts:
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort for arrivals beginning Sept. 16
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for arrivals beginning Oct. 14
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter for arrivals beginning Oct. 28
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for arrivals beginning Dec. 9
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will also be available for arrivals to begin on July 19 and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on Aug. 26. Are you excited to return to these Disney World Resort hotels?
Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Aloha! Disney’s Polynesian Resort is set to reopen on July 19th! Just in time for a summer vacation!
Finally, after a big refurbishment, the hotel will operate again with certain changes, for example the monorail station and main entrance won’t be available yet. Instead, guests will check in at the front-desk in the Great Ceremonial House.
The new porte cochere will be ready for receiving guests that arrive via Disney’s Magical Express or through valet parking.
Guests will also be able to enjoy the new reimagined rooms that now feature a Moana theme! With colors inspired by the Pacific ocean and its many islands, including details, patterns and textures from the movie. And if you are feeling hungry, ‘Ohana will reopen on July 9!
You can book your room now with standard view rooms at $595 plus tax and rooms with a view of Magic Kingdom at $839 plus tax.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
But wait, we have more exciting news to share today! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is reopening on Aug. 26th!
Animal Kingdom Lodge was open for Disney Vacation Club members but starting on August 26th it will be open for anyone wishing to stay at this amazing resort!
