Are The Cabanas At Castaway Cay Worth It?

Deciding if something is “worth it” really depends on if the item gives you and your family what you want. In order to find out if the cabanas will give you what you want, you’ll need to know more about them.

The 24 cabanas on Castaway Cay are available to rent along the family beaches as well as the adult-exclusive Serenity Bay beach. Each cabana is 325-square feet and is furnished with comfortable cushioned chairs, luxurious chaise lounge chairs, stylish side tables and a small coffee like table that is in front of the sofa. Other convenient features include a refrigerator, lockable storage unit, outside fresh water shower and sail cloth for shade on the deck. Each Cabana will have an assigned Beverage Server. Cabanas can be reserved online ahead of time or at the Port Adventures desk while onboard the ship. You can also purchase alcoholic beverage packages on board for the cabanas.

On the Family Beach, a full-day rental for up to 6 guests costs approximately $549 and up to 10 additional guests can be added for $50 per person. The amenities for the cabanas on the Family Beach are:

Unlimited bottled water and soda
Fruit Bowl (whole fruit)
Snacks (chips and granola bars)
Coppertone Sun lotion basket (2 items)
Cool face cloths stored in the refrigerator
Beach towels (8 in total)
Snorkel Equipment, Float or Tube rental, and 1 hour Bike Rental
Selection of magazines (3 in total)
Sand Toys

On Serenity Bay Beach, a full-day rental for up to 4 guests costs approximately $399 and up to 10 additional guests can be added for $50 per person. The amenities for these cabanas are:

Unlimited bottled water and soda
Fruit Bowl (whole fruit)
Snacks (chips and granola bars)
Coppertone Sun lotion basket (2 items)
Cool face cloths stored in the refrigerator
Beach towels (8 in total)
Float or Tube rental and 1 hour Bike Rental
Selection of magazines (3 in total)

Snorkel equipment and sand toys are not included in the Serenity Bay Beach cabanas.
