There’s a lot of magic and entertainment to be found at the Walt Disney World Resorts. For starters, you can find character breakfasts, majestic swimming pools, and a wonderful themed design at the various resorts. Here’s why you should check out Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!
Fort Wilderness Campground
First of all, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long is available each night at the resort. You can find the show venue at the Fort Wilderness Campground. The campfire activity starts at 6:00 PM. The Chuckwagon is open from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM to sell snacks and refreshments. Guests are allowed to bring their marshmallows and sticks to make their own s’mores. If you don’t have your own, then you can always purchase a s’mores kit from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar. Some of the other snacks they carry include nachos, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, and soda refreshments.
Sing-A-Long
The actual Sing-A-Long begins at 7:00 PM. The outdoor theater is spacious and accommodates a large gathering of guests. So you should be good for finding available seating. It starts with a cowboy entertainer who takes the stage. He leads the audience with music and laughter. The show lasts roughly 30 minutes. The singer plays childhood classics and cowboy tunes that small children can enjoy. It’s easy for anyone to start clapping and singing along to his merry melodies.
Chip ‘n’ Dale come out to greet everyone during the cowboy’s show. The chipmunk duo partake in the entertainment by delighting families with their humorous antics. Chip ‘n’ Dale will have about 10 minutes or so of free time after the cowboy’s performance. They’ll greet guests and pose for family photos as long as they have time available.
Outdoor Movie
Lastly, you can stick around after the campfire sing-a-long to watch a Disney movie. Each night a “Movie Under The Stars” is played in the Campfire Theater. You can watch animated classics such as Peter Pan or Dumbo. Even more modern films such as Big Hero 6 and Pixar films are found playing in this outdoor theater. Since a lot of guests stay at this resort for a few days, they rotate through a lot of movies so families can find enough options to watch.
The best thing about Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Sing-A-Long is that it’s free to attend! You can enjoy the live music, movie, and company of Chip ‘n’ Dale for free. The only expense is if you want to purchase food or beverage. If you want to save on costs during your next Disney vacation, then you can bring your groceries to make your own s’mores at the campfire.
