Disney Adventure World Officially is Open at Disneyland Paris

Today marks a historic transformation for Disneyland Paris as Walt Disney Studios Park officially becomes Disney Adventure World. This reimagined “second gate” is the result of a massive €2 billion investment, opening the door to a new era of immersive storytelling that places guests directly inside the heart of their favorite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films.

A Star-Studded Inauguration

The grand opening was preceded by an exceptional ceremony attended by Josh D’Amaro (CEO of Disney Experiences), Natacha Rafalski (President of Disneyland Paris), and world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron.

The event’s emotional peak occurred when French-American singer Santa performed a haunting rendition of “Into the Unknown” on a floating ice piano.

She was joined by 11-year-old Lou, whose wish was granted through Make-A-Wish France, marking the 25,000th wish fulfilled at Disneyland Paris since its opening in 1992. The ceremony concluded with a breathtaking finale of “Let It Go,” featuring Anna, Elsa, and a state-of-the-art robotic Olaf that brought the beloved snowman to life like never before.

World of Frozen: Arendelle Comes to Life

The crown jewel of this expansion is World of Frozen, a fully immersive land that recreates the Kingdom of Arendelle with staggering detail.

• Frozen Ever After: A musical boat journey through the North Mountain, featuring next-generation Audio-Animatronics® and a sensory-rich “Let It Go” finale.
• The Royal Encounter: Guests can step inside Arendelle Castle for a personal meeting with Anna and Elsa.
• Authentic Nordic Flavors: The Nordic Crowns Tavern serves traditional Scandinavian-inspired cuisine in a hall decorated with the history of the royal family.

Adventure Way & Adventure Bay

At the end of the promenade lies Adventure Bay, a massive 7.5-acre lake that serves as the park’s “beating heart.”

Construction has officially begun on the park’s next major expansion: a land dedicated to The Lion King, featuring a massive water-based attraction that will plunge guests into the Pride Lands.

As Natacha Rafalski noted during the ceremony: “We’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate; we’re opening the door to a new era.”
