Disney Cruise Inclusions and Exclusions
Disney Cruise Line offers an unparalleled vacation experience, but it comes with a higher price tag than many other cruise lines. The reason for this is simple: Disney includes more in its base fare. To help you understand the value of your investment, let’s break down exactly what’s covered and what’s extra on a Disney cruise.

Stateroom
The cornerstone of your Disney cruise purchase is your stateroom. Your fare includes your accommodations and all associated taxes and port fees. Disney Cruise Line offers four primary stateroom categories: Inside, Oceanview, Oceanview with Verandah, and Concierge.
Dining
Disney Cruise Line offers a generous dining package included in your cruise fare. Enjoy three sit-down meals daily in elegant dining rooms, plus casual buffet-style options and snacks throughout the day. Quench your thirst with unlimited tap water, coffee, tea, milk, juice, and soft drinks. For ultimate convenience, 24-hour room service is also complimentary.
While most dining is covered, there are additional costs. Specialty restaurants offer elevated culinary experiences for an extra fee. Alcoholic beverages, premium non-alcoholic drinks, and bottled water are also available for purchase.
Entertainment & Activities
Most on-ship entertainment and activities are included in the price.
- Nightly Broadway-style musicals
- Movie screenings, including first-run and 3D films
- Family activities including trivia games, live musicians and other entertainers, animation workshops, and more
- Disney character experiences
- Deck parties and fireworks at sea
- Special events during holiday or themed cruises
- Youth club activities for kids ages 3 to 17
- Access to pool areas, water slides, and splash areas
- Access to the fitness room (ages 18 and up)
Other Costs
Shore excursions, which offer unforgettable adventures in each port and at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, are not included in the cruise fare. For convenience, many excursions can be booked in advance through your Disney Cruise Line account. Other potential onboard expenses to consider include souvenirs, spa treatments, salon services, professional photos, and childcare for children under three.
