Q: I’ll be at Disney World for Easter. Will they be offering church services on Easter Sunday?
A: Easter is such an wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World, from Easter egg hunts, parades and even a meet and great with Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny there are delightful holiday touches around every corner. However Easter also represents a very important religious holiday for many guests staying on-site at Walt Disney World. With this in mind, Disney does offer Easter Sunday religious services to accommodate their guest.
All services will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom. There will be three services available on Easter Sunday. Catholic Masses will take place at 8:00am and again at 10:30am. In addition, there will be a Protestant Service taking place at 9.15 am.
The Contemporary Resort is conveniently located on the Walt Disney World monorail line. Guests staying at the other two monorail resorts (Polynesian Village Resort or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa) need only to hop the monorail over to the Contemporary. Guests staying elsewhere on site should board their resort bus for the Magic Kingdom. Once there, the Contemporary is only a short walk or bus ride away. Buses will be available from 7:00 am.
