What Disneyland Attractions have Lightning Lane?
The Disneyland Resort replaced its MaxPass system with the newer Disney Genie+ system. Not a whole lot has changed since both are services guests have to pay for. FastPass lines are now called Lightning Lanes, however. The process for booking return times is mostly the same and the attractions that offer the service remain mostly the same. There are a couple of rides that offer the separate Individual Lightning Lane service, but let’s go over the attractions that have regular Lightning Lane.

In order to use Lightning Lane, you must first purchase Disney Genie+. This can be done when you purchase your tickets or on the day you’d like to use the service. Then, once you enter the parks, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection. There are over 20 attractions across the two theme parks that offer Lightning Lane. Let’s take a look at which rides and attractions are available in each park.

*Pirates of the Caribbean is being added temporarily to the Lightning Lane attractions starting today, January 22.
There is also one ride that offers Individual Lightning Lane which is a separate cost from Disney Genie+. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is accessible with Individual Lightning Lane or the standby queue.

At Disney California Adventure there is also a ride that offers Individual Lightning Lane. Radiator Springs Racers is accessible through Individual Lightning Lane or the standby queue.
You can reserve a Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation once every two hours or once you’ve redeemed your current Lightning Lane reservation. With the Genie+ selection, each attraction can be experienced only once. If you wish to ride a particular attraction again, you must join the standby line. Additionally, it’s crucial to note that failing to attend your reserved time slot without canceling it on Genie+ will prevent you from booking another one, counting it as your one ride. Therefore, if you’re unable to make a reservation, be sure to cancel it to open up the opportunity to book another one later!
