Health and safety policies have changed regularly at the Disney theme parks since the Covid-19 pandemic started. These changes can make it difficult to plan your Disney vacation. A recent change involves the mask mandate.

With airlines and the TSA no longer enforcing mask mandates, many are wondering if masks are required at Disney parks.
The main answer is no, guests are no longer required to wear face masks at Walt Disney World. Face masks are optional both indoors and outdoors but are recommended for all unvaccinated guests.
Up until recently, guests were still required to wear masks while on Disney World transportation like the monorail and buses.
Disneyland has a different mask policy, however. At Disneyland, it is highly recommended that guests wear face masks but not required except in certain indoor settings. Masks are still required for all guests on Disney shuttles and in health settings like First Aid.
