Question: Can you take selfies with the Disney Characters?
Answer: Yes. If photography is allowed at a Meet and Greet session with a character you will be allowed to take a “Selfie”. Some, more notably the princesses may seem “confused” by the term selfie, but will happily allow you to use your “magic contraption” to take a picture with them. Some characters may even get very into it, Peter Pan is infamous for that. Characters that you may not be able to get a selfie with are ones from the Parades, and Dance Parties. These are characters that are in constant motion and are often times unable to stop for still photography, and character handlers may tell you posing for pictures with them is not allowed. Disney Character Meet and Greets are all about having fun, and experiencing the Magic of the parks. Taking a Selfie with the characters is a great way to preserve the fun of the moment, but don’t forget to let the Photo Pass cast members take some great ones for Memory Maker as well!
