The Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs through February 19. To start off your visit, grab a Festival Passport! Located at each entrance to EPCOT you can pick up a Festival Passport as you are walking in. The passport is loaded with information that is helpful for your visit.
One of the big merchandise items at the Festival this year is a new Figment popcorn bucket! The all-new Figment Popcorn bucket is exactly $30 and is available through mobile order on the My Disney Experience app. The bucket is in the shape of the Imagination Pavilion and features Figment sliding down a rainbow on the inside. It also lights up!
The Festival features lots of other fun merchandise guests can take home to commemorate their visit. From shirts to Minnie ears to backpacks, there’s something for everyone!
A fun way to experience the Festival is the Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt. Explore World Showcase while searching for Figment in different works of art!
To get started, purchase your map and stickers (available while supplies last) for $9.99 plus tax at one of the following stores:
- Creations Shop
- Port of Entry
- World Traveler
Then, search for Figment hiding inside art inspired by famous works at each World Showcase Pavilion—just look for the Figment-themed picture frame. Every time you find Figment, add the corresponding sticker to the Pavilion on your map. Once your journey is complete, return your map to Disney Traders or World Traveler and receive a little keepsake!
Another fun way to leave your mark at the Festival is the paint by number mural! This interactive art project invites guests of all ages to contribute to a giant mural, creating a vibrant masterpiece together.
Paint by Number mural is a large-scale canvas divided into sections, each numbered and corresponding to specific colors. Guests are provided with paint and a brush to fill in the sections, contributing to the evolving artwork that showcases the collective creativity of EPCOT visitors. Guests check in to the Paint Distribution area at the Expression Section to pick up their paint and paintbrush.
Each container of paint is numbered, with the numbers corresponding to a section of the wall that should be painted. The numbered sections make it easy to figure out exactly where you are supposed to head to start painting!
Participation in the activity is included in your park admission, so there is no additional cost for this fun activity, which is perfect for families, art lovers, or anyone looking to engage in a unique and memorable experience.
Food is a big part of any festival at Epcot! There are 16 unique food kiosks along with limited-time menu items at select dining locations around EPCOT. There are so many delicious and colorful food items to try! For a unique way to try multiple food items, participate in the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.
Set out on a tasty trek around EPCOT featuring 7 vibrant dishes—and one technicolor treat to enjoy at the end of your journey.
Use your Festival Passport to look for specially notated menu items, then track your progress by collecting a stamp after each purchase. Once you’ve enjoyed at least 5 of the 7 dishes—and collected the corresponding stamps—bring your stamped Festival Passport to the Deco Delights Food Studio to receive a complimentary Artist Palette Cookie.
There are multiple photo ops for guests to experience during the festival! Some particularly fun ones are step-in frames. You’ll find them located throughout the park:
- International Gateway: Luncheon of the Boating Party – Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- The American Adventure: Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emanuel Leutze
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: The Scream – Edvard Munch
