“I purchased the Candlelight dinner package and will be attending a 8:15 showing. After this event, I need to stake a spot for IllumiNations. Where should I go? Advice?”
The Candlelight Processional Dining Package includes an Epcot dining experience with reserved seating for the Candlelight Processional.
You must eat prior to your performance time.
I would suggest checking your, “My Disney Experience” account for a FassPass+ to the IllumiNations, Reflections of Earth, this will allow you access to the Reserved IllumiNations Viewing Area. This option will book up FAST so if this is not available for the dates that you have selected then you won’t have much option for viewing spots at IllumiNations since the 8:15PM crowds coming out of Candlelight Processional are heavy and all viewing locations around the World Showcase will fill up quickly.
The good news is that IllumiNations is very easily viewed from many areas in Epcot. So even if you don’t get the BEST location, chances are that you will still be able to see the show. One of my favorite viewing spots is from the Italy Pavilion but there are many great options around the World Showcase.
The Candlelight Processional is held in Epcot at the American Gardens Theater. The Theater is located in the American Pavilion. So you will be exiting this theater at the American Pavilion 45 minutes prior to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
The Illuminations: Reflections of Earth Fast Pass Option:
This viewing area is reserved by FastPass+ option. It is located in the Showcase Plaza, (near the entrance of the World Showcase). If you are coming from the 8:15PM showing you will want to move quickly to get to this area as it is on the other end of the Showcase. Where as the 5:00PM and 6:45PM show-times allow you to work your way back to the entrance of the Showcase with no need to rush as IllumiNations begins at 9PM.
