2025 Oogie Boogie Bash Kickoff Recap
The first Oogie Boogie Bash party of 2025 has come and gone and we were there to experience it! From villains on the treat trails to the spooktacular Frightfully Fun parade, this Halloween party was full of enchanting Disney fun.
Once guests enter the park, they get a wristband, map, and treat bag. The map shows were all special character interactions are, each treat trail, specialty foods, and more.
There are 12 treat trails at this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash. Cast members hand out candy and other treats at each one. Nine of those trails feature Disney villains guests can interact with.
Five villains can be found in Hollywood Land.
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz – Disney Jr. Theater
- Oogie Boogie – Animation Academy
- Hades – Hollywood Backlot Stage
- Judge Doom – Hollywood Backlot
- Ernesto de la Cruz – Hyperion Theater Courtyard
The other four villains are more spread out in the park.
- Agatha Harkness – Ancient Sanctum, Avengers Campus
- Yokai – San Fransokyo Makers Market, San Fransokyo Square
- Syndrome – Near Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, Pixar Pier
- Maleficent – Grizzly Peak Trail
There are two performances of the Frightfully Fun Parade. We suggest viewing the last performance and enjoying other party offerings during the first. The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, happy haunts from the Haunted Mansion and more take to the streets of California Adventure during the parade.
Guests can take home some souvenirs from the party. Merchandise includes a spirit jersey, shirts, pins, a Minnie ear headband, candy bag, and more!
