Happy Birthday to you, Magnolia Jackson! Lifelong Florida Resident Magnolia just celebrated her 106th birthday at the Most Magical Place on Earth for the very first time! While attending the Florida Classic college football game in Orlando last fall, she watched Mickey Mouse perform on the field in his adorable drum major outfit. After that special day, Magnolia felt the magic that everyone’s favorite Mouse brings to our hearts. It ignited her newfound love for all things Disney and inspired her to celebrate her special day at Walt Disney World!

This past Wednesday Magnolia was surprised with the celebration of her dreams as she arrived at the Magic Kingdom to quite a spectacular birthday party! Disney cast members, corporate executives and Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with cheerful birthday signs, lively music, vibrant balloons, and not to be forgotten, a colossal birthday cake, all came together to greet her with joy and celebration! What an unforgettable day for Magnolia Jackson and her family!

It truly was a remarkable occasion for Jackson, who resides near Gainesville, Florida and holds the esteemed title of being the oldest living graduate of Bethune-Cookman University in nearby Daytona Beach. Accompanied by a lively group of family and friends, she embarked on quite an adventure at Disney!
Following the heartwarming celebration, she embarked on a tour of the Magic Kingdom, where she had the pleasure of spending time with Princess Tiana in anticipation of the summer debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction. From there, her journey continued to EPCOT, where she indulged in her lifelong passion for gardening at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Disney graciously provided her with an exclusive tour of the festival, featuring breathtaking gardens, Disney-themed topiaries, and delectable culinary delights! How special!
