Height Requirements for Rides & Attractions for Disneyland Resort

Nothing is more disappointing than getting to a ride you are excited to experience and finding out you don’t meet the height requirement! It’s a good idea to know ahead of your trip what your little one(s) will be tall enough to ride. That way no one is unexpectedly disappointed during your vacation!

There are around 20 rides at the Disneyland Resort that have height requirements. Each park has around 10 rides. Take a look at the height requirements for all rides.

38 in – Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
40 in – Space Mountain
40 in – Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
40 in – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
40 in – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (coming later this year)
40 in – Star Tours
42 in – Matterhorn Bobsleds
46 in – Indiana Jones Adventure

Disney California Adventure Park

32 in – Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
32 in – Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
40 in – Soarin’ Around the World
40 in – Silly Symphony Swings
40 in – Radiator Springs Racers
40 in – Jumpin’ Jellyfish

48 in – Incredicoaster

Try to measure your little one(s) prior to your trip to see what rides they are tall enough for. You’ll be able to prepare them beforehand so they aren’t disappointed in the parks.
