We have broken down what will be included in each tier of the Disney Dining Plan when it returns next year
In case you have not heard the news: the Disney Dining Plan is returning in 2024. The dining plan was suspended when the parks shut down during COVID, and has been slow to return as Disney attempted to increase restaurant cast member staffing to ensure maximum availability. Thankfully, Disney recently announced the Dining Plan will be returning in 2024. What exactly will the 2024 version of the Disning Dining plan look like? Read on to find out!

The Disney Dining Plan is a pre-paid meal package option that can be added to resort reservation packages at Walt Disney World Resort. A favorite among many Disney guests, the Disney Dining Plan can afford savings when compared to paying out of pocket, while also providing the convenience of having your meals and snacks paid for in advance of your stay. The Disney Dining Plan can also provide opportunities to enjoy higher-end dining experiences that might be considered splurges without the plan.
Prior to 2020, the Disney Dining Plan was offered in three tiers: the Quick Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Dining Plan. When dining plans return in 2024, the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan tiers will be offered.
Quick Service Dining Plan
The Disney Quick Service Dining Plan is perfect for families who like to stick to grabbing quick service meals on the go, and are not interested in table service meals. With the Quick Service Dining Plan, each member of your party is afforded 2 quick service meals and 1 snack per night of stay. Each guest will also receive a Resort-refillable drink mug that they can use to grab soft drinks, coffee, or tea at self-service beverage islands at any Disney Resort hotel Quick-Service location.
The exact number of meals and snacks is determined by your length of stay, so a 5-night stay affords each member of your party a total of 10 Quick Service Meals and 5 snacks. The plan is purchased for the length of stay, so if you are staying for 5 nights and want to add the dining plan you must add it for all 5 nights.
Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay, but they do expire at midnight on your checkout day. Each meal does include a drink, and guests age 21 or over with valid ID can substitute the non-alcoholic drink with a beer, wine, or cocktail. Guests between the ages of 3 and 9 must purchase from the children’s menu.
