A huge perk of purchasing a Memory Maker package at Walt Disney World are the Magic Shots. These are pictures that the PhotoPass photographers infuse with an extra bit of Disney “magic” and the end product is nothing short of amazing. Magic Shots elevate your average family photo from ordinary to extraordinary but adding in some of your favorite Disney friends or other cute graphics making it the perfect Disney souvenir.
But with PhotoPass photographers seemingly around every corner, how do you know which place to stop in the hopes of capturing one of these amazing shots? Historically it has been a bit of a guessing game but Disney is changing all of that with a new feature on the Disney PhotoPass Service Facebook page.
Once you’re at the page locate the photos tab on the right hand menu bar:
This will lead you to the photo area where Disney has set up an album for each Walt Disney World theme park.
You can click on any of the albums and it will take you to a list of all of the current Magic Shots that can be found at each park as well as their location!
When you click on the shot that you are interest in, it will give you specific information on how you can nab that particular Magic Shot in the park and often times includes the location you need to head to.
Disney has announced that they will continuously update this information with current Magic Shot offerings so that you always know what’s available. This is especially important during festivals and holidays when a whole new range of shots crop up.
The great thing about these albums is that with the Facebook App you can access them while you at the theme park and go on a scavenger hunt for your favorite shots!
We hope you love this new guide as much as we do! Nabbing a Magic Shot is now easier than ever!
Magic Shots are available for individual download through PhotoPass for a fee. Those taking out a MemoryMaker package get to take advantage of unlimited downloads. The cost for MemoryMaker is $169 if purchased up to 3-days in advance of your vacation or $199 per package if purchased under 3-days or while you are at the parks.
