Cast Members are spreading the magic while staying safe with these new face masks!
Since Walt Disney World and Disneyland started their phased reopening, a new safety policy was put in place requiring guests and cast members to wear a mask in order to visit the parks.
So since Disney Cast Members help make magic for guests all ever the world, why not add a little bit of pixie dust to their face mask!
“Over the past several months, we’ve spent significant time and brainpower to provide our cast members with face coverings that are both functional and comfortable, and i’m proud of the incredible results” mentioned Dr. Pamela Hymel, Disney Parks Chief Medical Officer. “They fit well, feel great and can last for more then 50 washes.”
The masks were designed in partnership across the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World costuming teams, Disney Parks Live Entertainment, Worldwide Safety Services and Global Applied Technology.
If you look closely, you will notice little hidden Mickey constellations in the pattern! This symbolize the joy, magic and pixie dust that every dreamer and cast member have in common.
They are available in two styles: Pleated and contoured and in multiple sizes as well. The design team sourced and tested a wide range of fabrics, styles and features with a focus on comfort and function. Both styles have adjustable spandex over the ears, extended nose pinch to the face, contoured shape under eyes and a lightweight, quick-drying material.
We definitely wish they sell these masks, they are beautiful!
So next time you visit the parks, take a closer look (while keeping your distance) at their new masks!
