A Punch List of All The Things We Hope To See in Villains Land
Once upon a nightmare, Disney announced the creation of a thrilling new Villains Land at Magic Kingdom, where the Disney Villains we know and love (or loathe) will finally take center stage. As details about this sinister expansion remain under wraps, we’re letting our imaginations run wild with a wish list of the attractions, dining, and shopping experiences we hope to see in this twisted new realm.

1. “Pull the Lever, Kronk!” – A Water Ride or Coaster Based on The Emperor’s New Groove
One of the top attractions on our wish list is a water ride or coaster inspired by The Emperor’s New Groove. Imagine hurtling through secret lairs and dodging traps as you race down Yzma’s hidden waterways. Of course, the ride would feature the infamous “Wrong lever!” scene, with plenty of twists, turns, and surprises that would make Kronk proud. Whether it’s a wild flume ride or a high-speed coaster, this attraction could perfectly blend humor and thrills, making it an instant classic.
2. “Poison Apple Potions” – A Themed Dining Experience
Dining in Villains Land should be nothing short of magical—wickedly magical. Our wish list includes a dining experience themed around the Evil Queen’s poison apples. Imagine a dark, enchanted tavern where the menu features potion-inspired cocktails and spellbinding dishes. The atmosphere would be equal parts eerie and elegant, with cauldrons bubbling and mysterious ingredients brewing. Guests could even choose to dine in different villain-themed rooms, each offering a unique and immersive environment, like Maleficent’s Forbidden Mountain or Ursula’s Grotto.
3. “Maleficent’s Castle” – A Dark Ride Adventure
Another attraction we’d love to see is a dark ride through Maleficent’s ominous castle. Picture yourself winding through shadowy halls, encountering thorns that seem to grow before your eyes, and witnessing Maleficent in all her fiery glory. This ride could culminate in a dramatic showdown, where guests experience the terror and thrill of facing off against one of Disney’s most iconic villains. The combination of cutting-edge technology and classic dark ride elements could make this an unforgettable experience.

4. “Villains Vault” – The Ultimate Shopping Experience
No visit to Villains Land would be complete without a shopping experience that feels as forbidden as it is irresistible. We envision the “Villains Vault” as a dark, opulent store filled with exclusive merchandise inspired by Disney’s most dastardly characters. Imagine getting your hands on limited-edition villain costumes, collectible items, and even interactive magic wands or spellbooks that let you cast your own “curses” in designated areas of the park. The shop itself could be themed like a treasure trove hidden deep within the land, with secret rooms and villainous surprises around every corner.
6. Villains Meet and Greets
No Villains Land would be complete without the chance to meet the most infamous Disney Villains in person. We’re imagining immersive meet-and-greet experiences where guests can interact with characters like Maleficent, Ursula, Hades, and the Evil Queen. These encounters could take place in elaborately themed settings, like Maleficent’s throne room or Ursula’s lair, complete with special effects and atmospheric details. And for those brave enough, perhaps a photo op with the Headless Horseman himself could be the ultimate Villains Land souvenir.
While Disney has yet to reveal the full details of Villains Land, the potential for dark enchantment is endless. As we eagerly await more news, we can’t help but dream about the wickedly wonderful experiences that could await us in this fearless new vision of a Disney experience. Whether our wish list becomes a reality or Disney surprises us with something entirely different, one thing is certain: Villains Land is bound to be a place where nightmares come true—in the best way possible.
