Pixar Place Floors Themed to Different Pixar Films

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at the Disneyland Resort recently reopened as the Pixar Place Hotel. The entire hotel received a retheme and update! From the lobby to the elevators to the rooms, Pixar theming is everywhere! One thing we noticed during our recent stay is that the levels are themed to a different Pixar film.

While the standard rooms in the hotel are all decorated with general Pixar decor and furnishings, each floor has a different color palette and Pixar mural on the wall outside of the elevators. We didn’t visit each floor but here are the ones we did see. Above is the 10th floor. The mural is of Ratatouille and the color on the walls is a light blue.

The 11th floor features a mural of Lightning McQueen from Cars. The walls are a dark red.

Multiple top floors feature an exciting mural of The Incredibles. The images are all from the second Incredibles film. The walls in the hall are orange on these floors.

On the 9th floor you’ll see a mural from Inside Out. It features Joy watching a memory. The walls on this floor are a light shade of purple.

The third floor shows a mural from Finding Nemo. Marlin, Nemo, and other sea life are depicted among the coral. The walls on this floor are a lovely teal color.

We also saw a mural of Merida and her horse Angus from Brave. The color on these walls is a dark green.

coco floor

One floor also features an image of Miguel and Dante crossing the bridge into the land of the dead from Pixar’s Coco. The walls on this floor are orange like the Incredibles floors.

We also really enjoyed the touches added to the lighting in the halls. Between each room is a circular light featuring the Pixar ball design. And if you look up while walking down the halls, you’ll see the Luxo Jr. lamp hopping along a light fixture.

And finally, a favorite touch we liked can be seen as you return to the hotel in the evening. The building is lit up in red, yellow, and blue!
