Planning a Disney World vacation can be time-consuming and exhausting. Not to mention, expensive! Park pass reservations must be made and dining reservations seem to be booking up fast. There is just so much planning to do! Have you ever thought about maybe skipping the parks altogether? Disney resort hotels have so much to offer. Why not try a vacation/staycation and just visit a resort instead?
Cost– New annual passes are not being sold currently, so guests have no choice but to purchase single or multi day tickets to the parks. This can get expensive when park hoppers are added in, or for larger families. In my experience, the theme park tickets are one of the absolute most expensive components of a Disney vacation. Imagine the left over money you will have to spend if you forgo the park tickets! You could seriously upgrade your resort, dine at some signature restaurants, or even go on a shopping spree!
You will actually be able to enjoy your resort and all the offered amenities!- How often do we stay at a beautiful resort and barely have any time to enjoy it? Many Disney resorts are like an entire vacation just by themselves! For instance, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you feel that you have been transported overseas to an African savannah surrounded by wild animals. At Disney’s Boardwalk area resorts, there are restaurants, Boardwalk games, and activities, and shops to explore. all of the Disney resort hotels have great swimming pools to relax by, and many also have pool bars to help with the relaxation!
There is SO much more to do besides the parks! – When all of your days revolve around rope-dropping parks and staying until you can’t walk anymore, you don’t realize all of the other things you’re missing out on! Of course, we have Disney Springs, but there are also multiple outlet malls and shopping centers surrounding Disney. Try miniature golf, bowling at Splitsville, or maybe visit Lego Land! There is just so much to do in and around Orlando. Try booking dining reservations at other resorts you would like to visit. Take a fun ride on the Skyliner! The options are endless!
If you are looking for a fun vacation with Disney’s top-notch service, why not try skipping the theme parks and just visit a Disney resort instead?
