Taking inspiration from Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, the Disney Destiny Grand Hall transports guests into a world of heroes and villains from the moment they step on board. The striking three-story venue, which dually serves as a central gathering space and entertainment hub for guests, honors Wakanda through thoughtful design details crafted by Walt Disney Imagineers. Insights from the Black Panther movies helped fashion the creative vision for the Disney Destiny Grand Hall, including metalwork on the pillars that mimics the banded armor and stacked jewelry found in Wakanda.
Up above, the breathtaking chandelier is fashioned after Vibranium, the rare metallic ore found in the fictional nation. Directly below, the geometric patterns cleverly capture the chevron pattern from Queen Ramonda’s crown. Presiding over the Disney Destiny Grand Hall is a stunning statue of T’Challa, the Black Panther: King of Wakanda, devoted son, and beloved brother sworn to protect his kingdom — and the Disney Destiny.

For most of the day, the Disney Destiny Grand Hall emits a bright and optimistic energy — a hero’s welcome, if you will — but at any moment, it morphs into a mythical realm of mystery.
With 360-degree lighting effects that fill the room with life and color, the ever-changing space reacts to the presence of certain characters, taking on the signature aura of some of the most legendary villains, rogues, and mischief makers of Disney and Marvel lore.
One such transformation takes place with the arrival of Loki, the fan-favorite character from Marvel Studios’ films and the Loki television series. Intent on clearing his name with the mortals of Midgard, Loki tries to declare himself ruler of this vessel and its occupants.
True to his infamous ego and affinity for chaos-making, guests never know where Loki is going to turn up with a grand proclamation of his glorious purpose or a dubious retelling of a well-known story. (He does have a penchant for rewriting history, after all.)
The God of Mischief occasionally recruits unsuspecting guests for a surprise competition to prove their adoration for his royal highness, or command them to explain the strange foreign rituals of ocean cruising. (All-you-can-eat soft serve is a new concept for the Asgardian.)
Other mischievous happenings begin when guests encounter the playfully sinister practitioner of the macabre, Dr. Facilier, who is often lurking around the Disney Destiny Grand Hall with a dazzling parlor trick or sleight of hand. They can join him for a game of chance with nothing to lose.

The fabulously over-the-top villain from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ One Hundred and One Dalmatians — and the acclaimed 2021 live-action film — inspires De Vil’s, a one-of-a-kind, adult-exclusive piano lounge onboard the Disney Destiny.
Cruella’s infamous flair for style and wickedly bold attitude are reflected in the bar’s Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic, where everything is adorned in her signature color palette of red, black, and white. There is even a glowing, fiber-optic Cruella that appears and disappears in the wall behind an eye-catching spotted piano. And with one side of the lounge open to the Grand Hall, you can sit back with a drink and a prime view of the ship’s premier gathering space.
Encounters with the legend herself are not uncommon at De Vil’s. Cruella graces patrons of her piano lounge with her larger-than-life presence during two brand-new entertainment experiences.
The first, just outside De Vils in the Grand Hall, is an opportunity for fashion-forward cruisers to put their personal style to the test on Cruella’s very own wretched runway, where the reigning rogue en vogue provides live commentary — whether she’s fawning over an absolutely exquisite fashion choice or offering dreadfully honest advice.
And when she hears the (horribly inaccurate) “Cruella de Vil” song playing on board, Cruella may recruit guests for a bit of treble-making to create a more flattering musical tribute to her marvelousness.

An evening at De Vil’s is anything but “miserable, darling.” Guests can unwind in style with an avant-garde selection of designer drinks that complement Cruella’s glamorous legacy.
Menu highlights include the Fashionista, which combines freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patrón Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice and the Fearless Sir Galahad, a zero-proof cocktail with Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, Angostura bitters, and aromatic smoke.

Everyone ready their Sling Rings! It’s time to take a portal with to The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge themed to the spellbinding world of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. Guests step through velvet curtains to discover The Sanctum, a centrally located entertainment parlor where the atmosphere is brimming with magic and mystery. Rich red and gold accents woven throughout the space draw inspiration from the distinct coloring of Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation, which is displayed in The Sanctum alongside other familiar icons and trinkets.
The unique design details take cues from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, from the carpet pattern inspired by his prized medallion collection to a circular focal point behind the bar that echoes the chamber’s iconic skylight – backlit with color-changing capabilities to represent the powerful forces protecting The Sanctum from supernatural invasions.

Like all Sanctums, this headquarters is home to a collection of mystical artifacts, but it also serves up a magical array of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees. Guests can witness the art of mixology with entrancing tableside beverage experiences and unique menu items that seemingly materialize from across the multiverse.
Menu highlights include the Mirror Dimension, served in an interactive glass and garnished with an electrifying dust that will leave guests’ taste buds tingling, and the Circle of Cosmos, mysteriously presented in an upside-down glass with a lemon peel spiral. And once all that sorcery has worked up an appetite, guests can treat themselves to a signature stuffed waffle with custard cream or mixed berry compote filling.
Guests and their families can visit The Sanctum to partake in a variety of spellbinding activities throughout their voyage. From creative craft relaxation and lively trivia challenges to musical performances for adults in the evenings, The Sanctum aboard the Disney Destiny is an enchanting destination for guests of all ages.

Grab your pirate hats and hold on to your treasure as we offer a sneak peek inside Cask & Cannon, the Disney Destiny’s own Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired pub. A nostalgic salute to the beloved Disney Parks attractions from around the world, this eclectic yet cozy lounge is outfitted with a mismatched collection of “acquired” (AKA pillaged and plundered) furnishings and antiques, presumably procured during the pirates’ countless voyages.
From treasure maps and fishing nets to barrel stools, rum bottles, and skull-and-crossbones insignias, nautical motifs and pirate iconography have been thoughtfully integrated into the design. The interior of the venue is decked out in wooden planks — evoking the interior of a sea-worn ship — and a trove of Easter Eggs honor both the highly successful film franchise and the original attractions’ famous lore.
The wooden carvings framing the portholes appear to be charred, just like the attractions’ burning village scene and distinctive lanterns are reminiscent of the namesake attraction in Disneyland Paris.
There is even a set of 13 drawers filled with treasure maps, each labeled with different scenes representing the global parks and attractions, including The Ghostly Grotto, Port Royale, Talking Skull Bay, Blue Bayou, and Treasure Cove. Meanwhile, the stacked treasure chests that make up the bar front nod to the treasure rooms and Captain’s Quarters in the films.
Evenings of revelry at Cask & Cannon include a menu fit for even the most seasoned swashbucklers, offering rare, specialty and vintage rums as well as a not-so-secret selection of specially developed “bootlegged” brews.

Welcome to Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind family dining experience that brings the iconic songs and legendary moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King to life at sea.
Exclusively available to Disney Destiny guests, this restaurant takes guests into the African savannah as they walk down the entry hall leading them into the main dining area, which is a stylized version of a Boma, a place where families and communities gather to eat, sing, and tell stories. The dining area is lined, with depictions of animals and nature realized through lighting and special effects, and. A wall of magical windows displays a rotation of vibrant sunrises and sunsets throughout the meal, reminiscent of iconic animated artwork from the original film. At the center of the venue, tiered risers mimic the look of African drums and serve as the stage for a lineup of live entertainment.

A colorful ensemble of live musicians and storytellers invite guests on a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack from The Lion King as they dine, retelling Simba’s rise from cub to king.
During special intervals throughout their meal, the band and performers revisit beloved songs using authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters.
