Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge places guests in the middle of the Star Wars universe! Guests are on a different planet when they enter the land. Batuu is located on the edge of the galaxy, between the Unknown Regions and Wild Space. From the sounds of spaceships taking off and landing to the droid prints in the streets, every detail in this land brings the Star Wars franchise to life!
You don’t need to be a huge Star Wars fan to enjoy and appreciate this land. There are two fantastic rides- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. You can enjoy a drink at the local cantina, shop for merchandise at the market, or interact with Star Wars characters you might run into. Chances are you’ll forget you’re even in a Disney theme park!
Toy Story Land – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Also in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Toy Story Land! Explore Andy’s backyard from the perspective of his toys. You’ll truly feel like you’ve been shrunk to the size of a toy when you see all of the childhood toys Disney has used to create this land. Knext, popsicle sticks, and Christmas lights are just some of the items that bring this land to life.
Three rides and now two restaurants help create memorable experiences. Slinky Dog Dash is a popular family-friendly roller coaster that boasts long lines throughout the day! There’s also the fun (and competitive) Toy Story Mania where you can try to beat everyone else’s score and the laugh-inducing Alien Swirling Saucers. Both are great rides for the whole family!
Toy Story Land now offers a quick service dining option as well as a table service option. Woody’s Lunchbox is a cute spot where Guests can find comfort items such as grilled cheese and tater tots. The new Roundup Rodeo BBQ provides fantastic theming, delicious food, and a whole lot of fun!
Pandora-The World of Avatar – Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you have to experience Pandora-The World of Avatar! Even if you’ve never seen the movie Avatar or know anything about it. This land is spectacular! Guests experience the beauty of this amazing land as they walk through the rainforest that comes to life. Floating mountains, a beautiful water feature, and incredible plant life make this land worth visiting.
The land offers two rides, one of which has continually been a guest-favorite. Avatar: Flight of Passage gives guests the experience of riding a banshee while Na’vi River Journey lets guests experience the calm and relaxing world of Pandora. The most stunning time to visit the land is in the evening when the bioluminescent lights come to life! The whole land seems to glow.
All four Disney World parks offer amazing, unique, and immersive lands for guests to explore. While we love all of them, these three lands at Disney World are ones we never miss! Which lands at Disney World are your favorite?
